Book Fairs

Our two Book Fairs are THE major fundraising source for our library. The money raised from the fair is used to purchase books and supplies for the library. The state has cut school library funding drastically in recent years and is currently just over $3 per student. 

The ALA (American Library Association) recommends budgeting $12-$15 per year per student for purchasing library books.

1,000 students X $12 to $15 = 

$12,000  to $15,000 per year

Our Library relies on book fair fundraising to meet our collection goals for best serving our students.
